Context and challenge
A technology center located in a public area faced significant issues related to exterior lighting, which created shadowed areas conducive to vandalism and night-time intrusions, partly due to obsolete lines and faulty switches. The main challenge was to ensure proper lighting to deter intruders while also improving the effectiveness of the video surveillance system by expanding its coverage and its ability to promptly detect suspicious situations.
Solution
QUAD IMPIANTI designed and carried out a complete exterior lighting relamping project, replacing obsolete lighting fixtures with high-efficiency LED systems managed by intelligent controls to ensure uniform lighting levels and safe routes at night. At the same time, the external video surveillance system was upgraded and expanded through the installation of high-definition cameras integrated with intelligent analysis software capable of detecting suspicious movements and supporting proactive alarm management. Developed as part of a public tender, the project combined technical expertise, operational reliability and technological innovation, improving the actual and perceived safety of users and operators and contributing to the protection of critical infrastructure.
