Context and challenge
A public authority in Trentino needed to implement an access control system capable of adapting to customized requirements by staff category and different access levels, with permissions varying by day, time or specific areas. The main challenge was to ensure a high level of security and GDPR compliance for personal data, secure and immutable access tracking, and integration with existing internal procedures without complicating daily operations or the future expansion of access points. A modular system that could also be easily configured and monitored remotely was required.
Solution
QUAD IMPIANTI designed and installed an access control system capable of meeting complexity levels higher than those typically found in commercial contexts: differentiated access by role and area, entry tracking through secure and immutable logs, management compliant with GDPR and internal regulations, integration with IT systems for mapping personnel on site, and scenarios that can be easily reconfigured for new access points. The centralized solution enables QUAD to provide continuous remote assistance and staff training, ensuring a balance between physical and digital security, operational flexibility and centralized management of complex users and roles.
