Context and challenge
An industrial production facility needed to bring its MV/LV substation into compliance with new regulations. The existing system was outdated and included critical components that were no longer aligned with the requirements of a modern electrical grid, creating potential risks of production interruptions.
A rapid, safe and fully compliant intervention was therefore required, capable of integrating the new components without interrupting daily activities.
Solution
QUAD IMPIANTI designed the solution by planning the implementation phases around the client’s timing and requirements and allocating the resources needed to ensure quality and meet deadlines. The work included replacing the central section of the substation in coordination with the side components and was also carried out on public holidays to avoid production downtime. The operation, performed in strict compliance with current safety standards and regulations, ensured operational continuity and seamless integration with the existing infrastructure. The result is a modern, reliable and safe system capable of supporting production with greater energy efficiency and turning regulatory compliance into a concrete operational advantage.
